First steps at Lymington Sea Water Pool

From: Lymington Sea Water Centre

Early in the morning of Saturday, January 23rd, inspired by the wave of support throughout the town and in the wider world for our sea water pool, a small group of hardy individuals braved the cold to carry out a new assessment of the state of the pool and surroundings with a view to getting refurbishment started ready for the hoped-for re-opening this coming summer. As a person who swam at the pool from May to September with my friend Doris [...] we spent many happy hours there, and it is most important not to lose this facility as it is needed for the young and old alike.

Another thing which should be restarted is the Lymington Water Polo team which was extremely popular and encouraged lots of people to come to the pool, it would also be good for the young men of Lymington to be involved.

Good luck and hurry up [Lymington & Pennington Town Council] and open the pool so that I and many others can get in for a swim.

Agenda Item 6.
"Sea Water Baths Proposals - To discuss ideas for regeneration of the Sea Water Baths as proposed by members of Lymington Business Community."
The author of the agenda has refered to "Lymington Business Community" in error.
It should be "Lymington Community Foundation".
